African Open sky, The Success Story

Founded in 2009 by professionals of the Aviation community with dual experience of International Standard and African realities, the group AFRICAN OPEN SKY (AOS) was founded on the basis of judgment that African continent was suffering from lack of reliable information about its various Airports facilities as well as impossibility to find an African based company providing a full flight coordination in all its countries.

The challenge was to open the African Sky, mean to facilitate all permits processes, provide with updated information such NOTAMs and contact details on platforms, pay for the on-ground charges on behalf of crews, avoid unnecessary and expensive third parties charges by coordinating flights with own staffs to offer a top quality services at reasonable possible costs…

Simlat awarded a contract to deliver advanced UAS & ISR Training and Simulation Classroom to Northland Community & Technical College in Minnesota

Technical College Imagery Analysis (IA) program Thief River Falls, Minnesota, October 6th, 2013

 

Simlat Ltd. was selected to provide an UAS & ISR Training & Simulation Center for the Northland Imagery Analysis college program.Northland’s Imagery Analysis and Geospatial Intelligence programs are the first of their kind
in America. Developed through a Department of Labor grant, the Imagery Analysis program
will be offered tuition free for the life of the grant.

Simlat to Deliver a Mini-UAS Training & Simulation Center to the Finnish Defense Forces (FDF)

Simlat Ltd. has been awarded a contract to deliver its advanced UAS Training and Simulation systems to FDF as part of Mini-UAS contract awarded to Aeronautics Ltd.

Herzliya, Israel, March 24, 2013  – Simlat Ltd. was selected to provide a UAS Training Center including its high fidelity UAS training systems to the FDF, as part of the FDF Mini UAS program.

The simulation center will support of the new Orbiter Mini UAS fleet which was selected by the FDF last summer as its future UAS. The program includes the manufacturing and delivery of Orbiter Mini UAS, as well as the development of independent operational, training and maintenance capability.
